Well, first of all: I'm a part of the school's staff. If I wanted to get you expelled, you'd have been scheduled for an expulsion duel as soon as you admitted to having gone near the Abandoned Dorm. Clearly, that isn't my intent here.

As for what's in it for me: I have ties to what happened before at the Abandoned Dorm that have affected my life to this day, and I'm curious about what might be happening there now.

And... Well, I don't wish to enter into details with a student, but to put it simply: A bunch of students, including myself, were involved in experiments taking place at that dorm in particular, with a previous teacher at the school. However, a lot of them vanished in the process.

Including me.

... In fact, I think out of all of them that did end up vanishing, only myself and one or two other students ended up reappearing at all.
